The art of fencing
Fencing is a combative and tactical sport that emphasises speed, agility, reflexes and skill. Fencers are tested for split-second control of body, mind, and emotions as they attempt to outsmart their opponents. Fencing embodies gallantry and respect.
We offer beginners' classes throughout the year. Classes include both youths and adults. Our classes are structured and teach the fundamentals of fencing: footwork, bladework, bouting, and refereeing. By the end of the 12-hour program, you will have sufficient skill to participate in electric fencing, to continue training at the club and to enter competitions.
