Musketeers
Fencing is a combative and tactical sport that emphasis speed, agility, reflexes and skill. Fencers are tested for split-second control of body, mind, and emotions as they attempt to outsmart their opponents.

Here at the Melbourne Fencing Centre we run the most vibrant fencing program available for children. During training we challenge our kids physically, mentally, and emotionally. They learn to be good winners and losers, and about how their actions directly influence the results they achieve. Our Musketeers learn to evaluate their attitudes about themselves and others, overcome fears, think strategically, and solve problems. Each session includes play and development of fencing skills. We focus on specific and progressive skills development.

Our Musketeer program runs Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. throughout the year. Once your child has settled into our Saturday morning program, and has acquired sufficient fencing skills, he/she is also encouraged to start fencing electric, usually Tuesday evenings, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (mixed age groups).

Our Musketeers grow and evolve year by year and we very proudly watch them develop. We offer our Musketeers an opportunity to become the best they can be: we teach self-awareness, responsibility, goal setting, gallantry and respect - these characteristics transfer into all areas of life.

In order to join our Musketeers program, your child needs some fencing experience. If your child has no prior fencing experience, he/she is required to successfully complete our  Fencing Beginners' Course.  If your child has undertaken our Fencing Beginners Course or has prior experience, please sign of for Club Membership here.
