The following Code of Conducts need to be read in conjunction with Melbourne Fencing Centre's General Code of Conduct outlined below:








General Code of Conduct: 

All MFC athletes, parents, spectators, coaches, managers  -
  1. must ensure that Fencing is always conducted in a disciplined and sporting manner and acknowledge that it is not sufficient to rely solely upon MFC management and coaches to maintain those principles;

  2. must at all times observe the Fencing Rules as defined by FIE and within Australia, the Australian Fencing Federation

  3. shall not engage in any conduct or any activity on or off the piste that may impair public confidence in the honest and orderly conduct of a training/ coaching session or competition.

  4. shall promote the reputation of MFC and take all possible steps to prevent it from being brought into disrepute.

  5. shall not commit a Doping Offence as defined in the FIE/ASADA doping regulations.

  6. shall not abuse, threaten or intimidate a fencer, manager, coach, parent or visitor, either on or off the piste; 

  7. shall not use rude or abusive language or gestures;

  8. shall not do anything which is likely to intimidate, offend, insult, humiliate or discriminate against any other Person on the ground of their religion, race, color or national or ethnic origin, age, gender or sexual orientation;

  9. shall ensure that MFC's environment and Fencing in general provides a safe and inclusive environment for all;
