Fencing Beginners' Course
FENCING COURSE
Our fencing classes are held at various times throughout the year. Course dates will be posted on this page. Our courses are suitable for all age-groups: children, teenagers and adults. Online registration is required and payment must be received prior to class.

Fencing Beginners' Course
Our Beginners' course runs Saturday mornings, over 10 weeks. Our Beginners' course is structured and teaches the fundamentals of fencing: footwork, blade-work, bouting, electric fencing and refereeing. By the end of this 10-week program, you will have sufficient skill to participate in electric fencing, to continue training at the club and to enter competitions. The course is divided into 3 Modules, all Modules must be completed in sequence.
Participating in our course or session is easy: Once you register
online and your payment has been received, you will receive a confirmation email.
All classes may include mixed age groups - children, youths, adults. We encourage children's participation from the age of 9 years and older.
Just turn up on the course day, wear comfortable clothing - tracksuit pants/shorts, t-shirt and runners and bring your own water bottle.
Parking is available in nearby streets and public transport is within walking distance.
During our beginners' course you will meet new people, learn about the Art of Fencing, have an opportunity to chat with our 2 x Olympian, improve on your fitness, have lots of fun and giggles, make photos for your social media sites - and who knows, you might just fall in love with Fencing ... and become a member of our fencing community.
Session and Course registration and fees are due prior to classes commencing and non-refundable once paid.
Confirmation email will only be sent once full session/course payment has been received.
