Parents Code of Conduct:
Learn with your child the rules of Fencing and teach your child to fence within these rules.
Your child's fencing goals and training plan will be mapped by MFC's Head Coach together with your child.
Always trust your child's personal coach's decision and clarify issues with MFC's Head Coach if you do not agree.
Help your child to recognize good performance, not just results.
Set a good example by recognizing fair play and applauding good performance of all.
Publicly accept officials’ judgments.
Discourage unfair play and arguing with officials.
Use correct and proper language at all times.
Never verbally or physically abuse your child for not succeeding.
Always recognize when your child has done their best
Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy Fencing.
Encourage and guide participants to accept responsibility for their own performance and behavior.
Never force your child to take part in fencing - training or competition.
